Garrett Spoelhof

Garrett Spoelhof is an audio engineer, producer, and keyboard player. As both an engineer and musician he is well rounded, attentive, and personable. He brings experience and enthusiasm to everything he does in music.

After discovering a personal joy in music at a young age, Garrett eventually attended Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN. There he studied audio engineering and sound production as well jazz piano. While a student at Jacobs, Garrett worked with exceptional faculty to hone his skills as an engineer and musician.

Garrett has extensive recording experience in both live and studio recording, and has recorded orchestra, chamber music, large and small jazz ensembles, as well as indie rock, pop and country music. With a strong foundation in jazz recording and performance, Garrett has a very musical ear and high attention to detail.

Along with experience gained at Indiana University, where Garrett received a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering and Sound Production in 2022, he has experience as a freelance engineer in multiple studios and venues. He has worked at Primary Sound Studios and Russian Recording Studio as a freelance studio engineer, and at Blockhouse Bar as a staff live sound engineer.
